USS Oriskany   Trips during 2011

How about a road trip? Join us for a drive to Gluf Shores, AL for a unique opportunity to dive this majestic fighting ship and other wrecks in the area. We will depart the shop Wed evening Mar 17th, spend the night along the trail arriving the dive shop on Thur the 18th. We will dive over the next several days departing for our return trip on Sun afternoon after diving Sun morning.

Terms & Conditions of Dive Travel

• All group travel which includes air fare is subject to a minimum of 10 travelers booked by 91-days from date of departure.  Should the minimum not be met we will advise of the change in the air fare at that time. Should the air fare go up customers will be given the option to cancel.  However, a cancellation fell of $50 will apply.
• Normally the number of seats booked for group air travel is limited. These seats will go on a first come basis.  Should all group seats sell out there may be an adder for the air portion.  So, book early!
  
• Each resort offers various price levels of accommodations.  While we display the various pricing options all accommodations are based on a first come basis.
• A single supplement charge will apply to all who travel alone. Usually, we can hook single travelers up with a roommate but cannot guarantee.  SS adders usually run about $375 but vary with resorts.
• 
  
• Normal deposit / payment schedules are as follows:
• $100 deposit required to hold a spot and remember, the earlier you book the more likely you will get your choice of accommodations.  If you cancel 4 months prior to the travel date $50.00 of your deposit will be refunded.
  
• 4 months prior to departure cash deposit must equal 25% of total trip cost
  

• 3-months prior to departure: International air must be paid to avoid penalty. Thus your total deposit amount must equal the cost of the airfare plus 25% of the land based charges.  The total of these two amounts usually equals 65% of the total.  Details of each individual trip are available at the dive shop.  Call or email for the exact deposit / payment schedule for the trip you are interested in.

• AGAIN: A group consists of 10 or more passengers. If group falls below 10 air, contract is void and air will have to be secured on an individual basis at  the going published rate.

• 60-90 days prior to departure final payment due, varies w/ destinations

Land Cost: Skin n Scuba and its cooperative destination incur unrecoverable charges preparing for your trip, therefore monies cannot be refunded if cancellations occur less than 60 days before departure. Cancellations more than 60 days prior to departure are based on individual group bookings per the outlined confirmation document you will receive upon depositing on the group trip. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

It is the travelers responsibility to check in with the airline 48 hours prior to your flight to confirm flights.
